Everyday our employee is in safety risk of handling of chemical of workplace and this course is design to provide an overall understanding of chemical handling from cradle to grave. During unexpected event, the chemical may accidently spill and immediate respond are necessary to contain the chemical spillage and minimize the chemical hazard both to human and environment. This 2 days Chemical Spill respond training will guide participant on handling the minor, moderate to major chemical spillage emergency respond and post recovery event. It is essential to do an assessment of the chemicals that are present in your region and establish whether or not specialized spill cleanup supplies are required. For instance, if your laboratory has a significant quantity of inorganic acids, you should seriously consider investing in an acid spill kit that also includes an alkaline neutralizing agent. This will help to reduce the likelihood of chemical exposure and injury when cleaning up the spill. Formaldehyde is one of the many dangerous compounds that can be cleaned up with one of the specialized spill kits that are available.
